Welcome to My Easy Tech Guide
Hi, I’m Muhammad, the founder of My Easy Tech Guide.
I started this website after spending a lot of time helping older family members and friends with their phones, tablets and computers. The questions were always sensible – how to make the text bigger, how to tell if a message is a scam, how to video call the grandchildren – but the answers online were usually written in confusing technical jargon, or assumed you already knew the basics.
My Easy Tech Guide exists to fix that. Everything here is written for adults over 50, in plain English, one small step at a time.
What you will find here
- Phone Basics – simple step-by-step guides for iPhone and Android settings, photos, messages and calls.
- Safety and Scams – how to spot scam calls, texts and emails, use passwords safely, and protect your money online.
- AI Made Simple – friendly introductions to tools like ChatGPT: what they are good for, and what you should never share with them.
- Smart Home – voice assistants, video doorbells and other devices that make daily life easier and safer at home.
How we create our content
We research our guides carefully, use AI tools to help with drafting, and then review and check every step before anything is published. Technology changes quickly, so we revisit and update our guides when apps and devices change.
If we recommend a product we have not personally used, we will always be honest about that – our buying guides are based on research into specifications, real customer feedback and value for money, never on payment from a manufacturer.
Our promise
No jargon without an explanation. No talking down to you. No rushing. Just clear, patient help so you can use your technology with confidence.
